Hi, my name is Lila!

I’m a current Senior in Girl Scouts and a Sophomore at Ingraham High School! I have been in Girl Scouts for nine years, starting in first grade! I first started Girl Scouts beginning of first grade with a troop that was created by moms from my grade. After a few changes of leaders, the troop disbanded at the end of fifth grade, as nobody wanted to continue with the troop but me. At the beginning of sixth grade, I joined Troop 42071, and have continued with that troop ever since! I have gotten to do so many cool things with this troop, despite being online only for a year during Covid. We have gone on trips, gotten Bronze and Silver Awards, and have done a lot of community service projects! I love Girl Scouts very much and I can’t wait to continue with it!

I am still unsure exactly what I want my Gold Award to be, but I know for sure it will have to do with some sort of performing arts! I do Color Guard, Technical Theater, and Band, and those are very important in my life, so I really want to do something about that. I might do it about Color Guard, because Color Guard is a very cool but under-appreciated part of marching band. Our captain is graduating this year, so it will be up to a bunch of sophomores running the club, so it might be something about that!
