Making a Club at Ingraham:
- I will have to talk to someone in the office/administrative to get permission to do the club, and talk to a teacher to host the club-and make sure it’s available on a certain day.
- I will talk to Mr. Schilleta about running a club, but he should be fine with it because he also hosts Women in science club on Tuesdays.
- I will need to recruit some people from both Chemistry and Biology classes to help run the club, currently a few people said they were interested in doing it I have:
- Kaisa – Biology
- Azura- Chemistry
- Carys – Environmental Science
- Bee- Environmental Science
- All of the above people have expressed interest in participating or leading the club on Thursday, however some have expressed mild worry about the already existing girls in science club that Azura is the president of.
- This club may overlap too much and dissuade people from joining it.
- I’ll have to put a general plan for what to present on in the club, some information meetings and history and significant figures, along with some experiments, maybe a titration or some microscope things with biology or simulations.
